The Phuket Gymnastics family came together in a spectacular display of talent, determination, and team spirit as we officially wrapped up the 2025/2026 season with our Phuket Gymnastics Internal Competition.
It was a day to remember. On 14th June 2026, our gym was buzzing with excitement as we had the honour of hosting a major event. With participants of all ages and levels, from our tiniest pre-schoolers (just 3 years old!) all the way up to our highly skilled Level 5 competitive athletes, the energy was electric from the moment the first routine started at 9:00 AM until the final score was calculated at 2:00 PM.
A Day of Progression and Precision
For our gymnasts, this competition wasn’t just about winning—it was about showcasing the incredible progress they have made throughout the year. Every leap, spin, and landing told a story of early afternoon practices, perseverance, and passion.
We were deeply honoured to have two expert judges travel all the way from Bangkok Pattana to assess our gymnasts. In gymnastics, perfection starts at a 10.0, and judges carefully deduct for two key elements: Difficulty (what the gymnast does) and Execution (how well she does it). The feedback we received from our visiting judges was absolutely fantastic, praising the high calibre of talent we have here at Phuket Gymnastics.
Team Spirit Above All
While the scores were impressive, what truly set this event apart was the atmosphere. Our gymnasts gave their absolute best on the competition area, but they also cheered the loudest for their teammates. This sense of unity and sportsmanship is what makes Phuket Gymnastics so special.
We believe in teaching more than just gymnastics. We are building resilience, teamwork, and discipline—values that our young athletes will carry with them for a lifetime.
Celebrating Our 2025/2026 Champions
Every participant walked away with a well-deserved participation certificate to commemorate their hard work. Medals were awarded for apparatus winners, overall placings, and team certificates. However, the highlight of the awards ceremony was the presentation of the Overall Champions. A huge round of applause to our 2025/2026 Overall Champions:
- Preschool: Cissie Yihan Yang
- Level 1: A triple tie between Yara Lucas, Aria Rowlett, and Nadezhda Ermakova
- Level 2: Rann Patamapaneewong
- Level 3: Jane Ni
- Level 4: Kiana Lambert
- Level 5: Miranda Yang

An event of this scale doesn’t happen without a dedicated team. We are incredibly grateful to our fantastic coaches and the experts from Mid Air Circus Arts and Phuket Gymnastics, whose dedication ensured the competition ran seamlessly all day long. We also extend our sincere thanks to Scoreholder for facilitating the instant and accurate scoring and results, and to BISP for once again hosting our event and providing top-tier equipment and setup support.
Keep the Momentum Going with Our Summer Camps!
Just because the competition season has ended doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! We know how important it is to keep young gymnasts active, engaged, and sharp during the break. That is why we are thrilled to announce that our Summer Camps are now open for registration! Whether your child is a beginner eager to learn their first cartwheel or a returning gymnast looking to refine their skills before the upcoming season, our camps offer the perfect mix of skill development, new challenges, and plenty of fun. It is the best way to stay fit, make new friends, and keep that gymnastics spirit alive all summer long! Camp highlights include:
- Expert coaching from our certified team
- Skill-building sessions on all apparatus
- Fun games and activities to build strength and flexibility
- A safe, encouraging environment for all levels (ages 3 and up)
Looking Ahead to a Bigger, Better Season
We are already counting down the days until next year! Riding on the success of this event, we are planning a bigger and more exciting competition for 2026/2027. Our goal is to host even more gymnasts, invite other clubs, and collaborate with more entities to provide the very best service to our families. And trust us, the excitement doesn’t stop here. When the new season kicks off, we’ll be unleashing exciting new gymnastics programmes, bigger challenges, and bigger rewards to keep every gymnast inspired, active, and having a blast doing what they love most.
